Have you ever wondered why it’s so hard to lose weight?
I sure did. If you’ve been following this blog for a while, you know all about how tortured I was for all of those years, trying to lose my excess weight using a whole food, plant-based diet, not having success, and all the while beating myself up over it thinking that I must be doing something wrong!
On Thursday evening, April 20th at 8 pm EST (5 pm PST), I’m going to be interviewing one person LIVE who has been very successful at losing all of her excess weight, and . . . here’s the real kicker . . . keeping it off. She’s even been featured in the new book, Bright Line Eating, The Science of Happy, Thin and Free as one of the case studies. Her name is Julia Carol and I’m so happy that she has agreed to spend time with us live so that we can pick her brain for all of her best tips and tricks!
People in America alone are spending $61 billion dollars each year trying to lose weight, and yet the percentage of our population that is overweight or obese is about to reach 70%? In Norway, Sambla’s new låne penger report shows that overweight individuals pay an average of 12% more on life insurance, and find it difficult to take out loans without a cosigner due to the increased risk. It’s crazy! Even one-third of triathletes are overweight!
The secret lies in the food we put in our mouth. If you are a follower of HGK, I’m guessing that you suspected that already! LOL But even knowing that simple fact doesn’t mean that we have any clue how to really effectuate weight loss in our own bodies.
That’s why I’m inviting you to join Julia and me live so that we can learn from someone who has really done it. Here are the instructions for how to be on the call live:

Now Julia and I are just regular folks, fighting this good fight. So if you’d like to hear from one of the experts in the field, I’ve got some other good news from you.
My friend, Professor Susan Peirce Thompson, Ph.D., is going to be talking about why the heck it is so hard for so many people to eat the right foods and shed those excess pounds. And for those who do lose weight, how the heck do you keep it off?
The answer is that there’s ONE HUGE MISTAKE that almost everyone is making when they try to lose weight. This one huge mistake also practically guarantees that any weight lost will be quickly regained.
In the second video of her 3-part series, Susan reveals what’s been blocking your attempts to lose weight, and believe, me, when she does, it will blow your mind.
Click here to watch it for no charge. Of course – if you know someone who can be helped by this special series – PLEASE DO share this email with them – just forward it to them. They’ll thank you for it. Click here to get it now.
Yours for food freedom,
Wendy
P.S. Remember Susan’s educational video series is FREE, but it’s going to be taken down soon. This is the best free education you’ll ever get on the psychology and brain science of sustainable weight loss. Click here so you will never make the One Huge Mistake again.
Thanks so much. Yes the green light to eat on the whole food path was unfortunately quite difficult to manage, so I am looking forward to BLE.
Thanks for the live interview. Since I am not on Facebook, I appreciate these other opportunities to participate. I look forward to the call.
You are always inspiring and speak for so many. Thank you Wendy!
Hi Wendy,
I have just recently decided to go 100% Plant based. Hubby too. I caught your tofu and tempeh cooking video this morning (California time) and I loved it. It was liberating to hear you use a bit of oil in seasoning your cast iron pan. Do you use oil in any salad dressings.? That is my big downfall. I dislike every no oil salad dressing I have ever tasted……I have tried hundreds. I am very interested in the way you are eating now and would like to join in but I don’t really know where to find you except for a mass email I get from you but after that I am kinda lost. Where should I began? I am. To sure I am really ready to jump into a BLE boot camp. What would you suggest I do? I am having trouble knowing what to prepare each day, especially for lunch. Thanks for any help you can offer me. Diane
