The HGK tribe has spoken!
Wondering what the heck I’m talking about? Well, I’m going to fill you in.
Many weeks ago I had promoted a free online summit that I participated in called The Sacred Sexuality Summit, and do you know what? NO ONE, not one of my dear readers, signed up to listen to the summit.
And that’s okay. I believe everything happens for a reason. I also believe the reason is ultimately in our highest and best interest, even if we cannot see it at the time.
Because no one signed up for The Sacred Sexuality Summit from my list of subscribers, the summit organizer decided that she was going to pull my interview from the summit and never air it.
Yes, I was shocked too, but then I got to thinking . . .
Maybe you guys just weren’t interested in the subject of the summit, and that’s okay.
No, it’s better than okay. It’s superfantastic. This is and has always been a blog about eating, and I was given a clear directive from you guys to just keep it that way.
The good news? I’ve got another free summit opportunity already lined up for us, and this time, it’s all about plant based eating!
Yipee!
It’s called the Living La Vida Vegan Summit and it’s about to start on May 30th.
The young woman who organized the summit, Stephanie Hutchinson, it is fairly new to the plant based food world and her enthusiasm is infectious, so if you are looking to inject some enthusiasm into your plant based life, this might be just the thing you need. And lets get real, who doesn’t need a continual supply of inspiration?
Here’s a little about Stephanie Hutchinson:
Food used to control her life – meals were stressful and never about the pleasure of savoring food, enjoying mealtimes with loved ones, or nourishing her body.
Her food was not ‘healthy’ enough, her body was never ‘lean’ enough, and she constantly was defeated by the strict diet she put herself on.
Can you relate to the not good enough feelings, (name)?
Committed to mending her destructive relationship with food and finding a greater love for her body, she adopted a plant-based lifestyle.
From there, she realized how many animal lives she was saving from immense suffrage and a grueling death. Next, she was thrilled to discover that she was no longer contributing to the destruction of the planet.
Most importantly, she learned that she was setting herself up to live a longpls, vibrant life with little risk of disease and illness. Plus, she felt great in her own skin… FINALLY!
Stephanie invited me, along with top doctors, researchers, renowned chefs, best-selling authors, champion bodybuilders, and more for the ‘Living La Vida Vegan’ online interview series. We’re sharing with you our best strategies, tips, and secrets to create the life, the body, and the health you have always desired.
I’m extending an invitation for you to attend at no cost!
Here’s the link.
On this interview series, you are going to discover how to:
• Stick to one lifestyle that will help you increase your energy, and bring youthfulness back to your body;
• Form a healthy relationship with food and connect with a deeper meaning behind the food choices you make;
• Easily create delicious, plant-based meals you’ll crave (bonus points if you implement plant-based medicine into your routine);
• Prevent disease and illness with fewer trips to the doctor’s office;
• Create a harmonious, purposeful life that supports animal lives and the health of our planet;
• Eat intuitively and sensibly to fuel your body with optimal nutrition.
Vegan diets offer people the chance to dip deeper into the abundance, variety, and experiences that life offers us. They offer a chance for us to connect deeper with who we are, and the impact we are making on the world. Living La Vida Vegan is about showing how enjoyable this choice can be!
All you need to do is click here and enter your information on the page to join us for the series.

Wendy
Just to let you know…I signed up for your promotion of the Sacred Sexuality Summit and enjoyed listening to it!!
Thanks for letting me know Rachael, I have contacted the summit’s organizer to let her know.
Wendy- about the Sacred Sexuality Summit: I think that for most of us it could be that an open summit about sexuality does not feel safe. Sexuality has become highly controversial- some believe in pornography as a couple, others don’t; sex before marriage- some are OK with it, some are not. Same sex relationships…….you get where I’m going with this. While a Sacred Sexuality Summit is a fascinating topic and I am always eager to improve upon certain aspects of that part of my life, for me, to sign up for something of such a private, personal nature, with possibilities of conflicting beliefs is not something I would be interested in unless I could be completely assured that there is no content that conflicts with my personal belief or that will offend me deeply. I had an experience where I bought a highly recommended book on sexuality because it was promoted by a very popular, unnamed talk show host that I respected -the book ended up being HIGHLY offensive to me. I learned a valuable lesson. I hope that makes sense. I think it’s a fabulous idea but it doesn’t feel safe. I hope that makes sense……..
I was a bit concerned about that Tiffany, but I thought, let me go out of my own comfort zone and just see what happens. Clearly, the universe responded with a reminder that I should listen to my gut instincts!
Wendy – not sure where the Summit organizer got their information as I signed up and listened to a few lectures. Was out of the country at the time so had limited time and less than perfect internet connections. But hearing that the summit organizer decided to pull your interview from the summit and never air it (everyone’s loss) makes it sound like they had unrealistic expectations that were not openly verbalized. One of the reasons you have so many loyal followers is that you are always upfront and honest with your readers with no strings attached!
Thanks for letting me know Kelly, I have contacted the summit’s organizer to let her know.
good for you and your upbeat attitude, Wendy! Once again, I’m impressed by your positive, nurturing mindset. And, even though I am NOT vegan, I signed up for the plant-based seminar and am looking forward to your interview on that subject. I have done several of these online programs, and the vast majority of the speakers are there to promote their products or services and get your money, so I am wary of their intentions and agendas.
